If you receive a target letter from an Assistant United States Attorney or if you have received a subpoena to testify before a federal grand jury, you can not afford to take it lightly.  If you are facing federal charges there is an extremely high chance that you could be facing active prison time, and a lot of it.  The federal criminal system is nothing like State Court.  The United States Sentencing Guidelines are almost as complicated as the Tax Code.  You can't afford to just call the attorney you have always used for representation in federal court.  You need someone with specialized experience in that area of law.  I have represented dozens of clients in federal court in cases including white-collar offenses, narcotics offenses, and firearm offenses.  So many federal offenses carry mandatory active minimum sentences that it is a very dangerous endeavor to proceed without an experienced attorney by your side.  If you find your self in this situation, give me a call and I will help you navigate through this extremely difficult and stressful process.
